CoWorkz Terms of Service

These terms apply when you create a CoWorkz account or use the CoWorkz software. CoWorkz is currently operated by The Beauty Basement Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Notice (https://www.coworkz.com.au/privacy/), which explains how we handle personal information.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and running, or working in, a business.
• Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account, including team members you invite.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Free trial and plans

• New accounts get a free trial. During the beta no payment details are needed and nothing is charged.
• Paid plans start from $39 per month (AUD, including GST where it applies). We will tell you the price and get your agreement before you are ever charged.
• When paid plans are available you can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future charges; we do not lock you into a contract.
• Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Your data

• You own the business information you put into CoWorkz, including your clients, bookings, content and notes.
• You give us permission to store and process that information only so we can run CoWorkz for you.
• You are responsible for having your clients' permission to store their details and to contact them, including for any marketing messages you send.
• You can export your data from the app, and ask us by email to delete your account, at any time.

Abby and AI features

• Abby and other AI features prepare suggestions, drafts and summaries. They can be wrong.
• Review anything Abby prepares before you send, publish or act on it. CoWorkz does not send messages, publish posts, charge clients or change payments without your approval.
• Do not use AI features to create content that is unlawful, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights.

Fair use

• Do not misuse CoWorkz: no attempts to break security, access other businesses' data, send spam or overload the service.
• We may suspend an account that puts other users or the service at risk. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.

Availability and changes

• CoWorkz is in beta. Features may change, and we may add, change or remove them as the product improves.
• We work to keep CoWorkz available and your data backed up, but we cannot promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
• We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Liability

• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost bookings, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• This does not limit any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Ending your account

• You can stop using CoWorkz at any time. To close your account, email us and we will confirm once it is done.
• After closing, we keep your data for 30 days so you can change your mind or export it, then delete it, except where the law requires us to keep records.
