ChairOS and Member Website Terms
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms apply to ChairOS, member workspaces and booking tools operated by The Beauty Basement Pty Ltd at rent.thebeautybasement.com.au. Separate written membership, rental, booking or other service agreements may also apply. If a specific written agreement conflicts with these general website terms, the specific agreement governs that arrangement. Contact thebeautybasementperth@gmail.com with questions.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your sign-in details secure and using the service only for lawful business purposes. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Members are responsible for the business information, services, prices, availability, client details and content they enter into their workspace, and for obtaining any permission needed to use another person's information.
Bookings and payments
A booking request is not necessarily a confirmed appointment or a guarantee of space. The applicable booking flow will show when a request has been accepted or confirmed. Members are responsible for managing their own schedules and client communications. Prices, payment timing, cancellation and no-show rules may be set out in the relevant booking page, checkout, membership terms or written agreement. Payments may be processed by a third-party provider, whose terms and privacy practices also apply. A payment alone does not override any separate approval required for salon access or rental.
Optional integrations
A member may choose to connect third-party services such as Google Calendar. The member authorises ChairOS to use the permissions shown during the connection process to provide the selected function. Google Calendar access allows ChairOS to read busy times and create, update or remove ChairOS appointment events in the connected account as described in our Privacy Notice. The member controls the connected Google account and its calendar sharing settings and can disconnect the integration in ChairOS. Third-party services may change or become unavailable.
ChairOS tools and content
ChairOS can help prepare booking, business and content information. Members should review generated drafts, insights and settings before relying on or publishing them. The member remains responsible for their professional services, client relationships, legal obligations and decisions. Do not use the service to upload unlawful content, infringe another person's rights, interfere with the service or attempt to access another account.
Availability and changes
ChairOS may include beta functionality. We work to keep it available and accurate, but interruptions, errors and changes may occur. We may update features and these terms; material changes will be communicated where appropriate. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal compliance or operation of the service.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Any remedy or liability is subject to those rights and any specific written agreement that applies.
Privacy and contact
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled, including optional Google Calendar access. For support or questions about these terms, email thebeautybasementperth@gmail.com.
Booking & Workspace Terms
Chair and workspace bookings use a separate versioned terms record so each booking keeps the exact version accepted when it was confirmed.
